Dr Julie McClellan is an experienced general practitioner with over 25 years in the field, who is passionate about supporting young families. She has a particular interest in infant sleep, settling, and lactation care. Julie is co-director of The Happy Baby Clinic, where she combines her clinical expertise with a warm empathetic approach.

Julie also works at the Royal Australiasian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) as a National Lead Medical Educator. In this role, she helps train the next generation of GPs and has lectured on breastfeeding, postnatal care and mental health.

Julie is married and has two great kids. When her children were babies, one was a catnapper and the other an insomniac! Julie still remembers how overwhelming and exhausting the early years of parenting can be.

Outside of work Julie loves theatre, travel and an unputdownable book.
