Bianca Sowerby
Paediatric Dietician
Bianca has been working as a paediatric dietician for the past 19 years and has spent the last 13 years at The Royal Children’s Hospital. Passionate about supporting children and their families, she is dedicated to optimising growth and health outcomes through evidence-based nutrition strategies.
Bianca completed a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics at Monash University and holds postgraduate certificates in paediatric nutrition. She has expertise across all areas of paediatric dietetics and understands both the clinical and practical aspects of feeding children - drawing from both her professional experience and her role as a mother of three.
Bianca sees a range of nutrition-related conditions, including food allergies such as cow’s milk protein allergy, faltering growth, fussy eating, nutritional adequacy, feeding difficulties, starting solids, malabsorption, micronutrient deficiencies, constipation, obesity, coeliac disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and general healthy eating.
In addition to her work at The Royal Children’s Hospital, Bianca consults regularly at The Happy Baby Clinic, providing nutritional care for babies, children and teenagers. She offers support for a range of nutritional concerns, with rebates available for eligible patients through a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan or private health insurance extras.
